This week's reflection, taken from the catechism of the catholic church

personal consecration to mary

O Mary, Mother of God, and my mother, today I consecrate to you my whole being, all that I am and all that I have, everything in me and around me, my love, my life, my all. I want to belong entirely to you and through you and through your powerful motherly intercession, I want to consecrate myself to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and do all for his Glory.

To you, O Mary, I consecrate my mind, my will and my heart, my senses, memory and imagination, my eyes - the window of my soul-, that I may see God at work in my daily life, y ears, that I may hear his calls, my tongue and lips, that I may praise God and teach others about him, all my works and all my energies, my sentiments and affections. May I not be distracted by what would separate me from My God.

May I dedicate myself completely to loving God - getting to know him better each day - and working for his Kingdom.
May I strive to please him, with the desire to make him known to all and to carry him everywhere.

O Mary, may my most ardent desires, ambitions, and dreams become a reality through your most powerful motherly intercession.

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
Whoever has God
lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.
— Teresa of Avila
Nada te turbe,
nada te espante,
todo se pasa,
Dios no se muda;
la paciencia todo lo alcanza;
quien a Dios Tiene
nada le falta:
Solo Dios basta.
— Teresa de Avila
